About Us:

With the success and rapid growth of Proozy.com, we believe it is essential to give back and support our community. Our business is built to outfit families so they can live the life they want. In 2019, we created The Proozy Gives Back Foundation to expand our mission of giving. 

As the leading initiative in the Proozy Gives Back Foundation, we created the Proozy Cares Closet - partnering with M Health Fairview clinics to help support mental health in our youth. 

Did you know that 1 in 6 U.S. youth experience a mental health disorder each year? That 50% of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14 or that suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among people aged 10-14? 

We are now in 5 clinics in the community where kids come and select items they need so they feel good about themselves and can focus on their mental health or addiction treatment. Each closet has been supplied with basic clothing needs including undergarments, socks, shoes, t-shirts, hoodies, pants, joggers and seasonal gear to the courageous young people in treatment. 

We want the kids to know our community cares about them and that they matter. Getting new clothing at such a hard time contributes to their comfort and hope as they begin their journey to wellness.

With your help, we can make a major impact. By 2025, our goal is to outfit a million kids. We need your help in making this happen so we can continue to invest in our closet build outs and expand into new clinics and communities.

The Proozy Cares Closet donations have been an amazing addition to our adolescent mental health and addiction programs! These creature comforts, like blankets and warm clothing are often taken for granted, but | have seen firsthand the positive impact they’ve made on patients as they begin their recovery journey. Many of our patients lack basic clothing necessities. The Proozy Cares Closet donations have allowed them to set aside the worry of having clothes to wear to treatment, allowing them to focus on the work they are doing in therapy. Additionally, many teens are reluctant and when entering our programs, especially those in our 24-hour residential program. Being able to offer them a soft, warm blanket for their bed has provided some comfort while they are away from their homes and families. While the items themselves are so helpful, the donation process itself has also been impactful. Unfortunately, our patients have often felt unsupported due to their behaviors and challenges. When we give items to kids, they always ask, “Why would someone who doesn’t know me want to give me these things?” | wish you could see the smiles on their faces when we tell them it is because Proozy Cares about them, about mental health and addiction, and about helping kids who are often forgotten. The patients and staff of all our programs are deeply grateful to Proozy for their partnership and philanthropy.”
